Mellissa Francine Arms passed away, December 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep compassion. Mellissa was known for her kind heart and her ability to make those around her feel welcomed and cared for.
She had a special love for her dogs, who were truly her babies. They brought her immense joy and companionship, and she devoted herself to giving them the best life possible. Mellissa also loved spending time with friends, enjoying good music, and making memories filled with laughter and happiness. Whether it was listening to her favorite songs or sharing a fun moment with the people she loved, Mellissa knew how to appreciate life’s simple pleasures.
Mellissa will be remembered for her warmth, her love for animals, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jesse Rayburn Arms.
Mellissa is survived by her son, Jacob Simon and Alexis Chavez; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Arms; grandchildren, Ashanti Battreall, Krystian Garcia, Amaris Zavala, Donavan Garcia; brother, Marcos Arms and wife, Melinda and a host of dear friends.
