Melodie Gayle Comer, age 67, of West Alexandria passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was born February 16, 1958 in Dayton, OH to the late Thomas and Vivian Gail Clark.
Melodie was a 1976 graduate of Twin Valley South High School. She enjoyed gardening; riding motorcycles with her husband Chris; and most of all visiting the ocean.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Duane Stanton; son Michael John; granddaughter Abigayle; and brother Shane Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Chris Comer of West Alexandria; daughter Jennifer (Jeff) Webb of Gratis; son Jesse (Kristina) Forrer of Germantown; son Joshua (Angie) Comer of Eaton; son Justin Comer of Eaton; 14 grandchildren; brothers Guy Clark of Arkansas, Wesley Clark of Xenia and Mark Clark; sister Lisa Bruner; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 67 W. Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH. Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
