Mrs. Melody Etheridge Scott

Mrs. Scott was born on March 16, 1950 and passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019. Mrs. Scott was a resident of Georgia at the time of passing. She is survived by her son: Thomas Etheridge of Lavonia; step-children: Kyle and Janet Scott of South Carolina; granddaughters: Alyssa Etheridge and Stevie Bruce; sisters: Laura Brooks and Susan Kemmerer; nieces and nephews: Kris Brooks, Justin Brooks, KelliKeisha Kemmerer, Andrew Kemmerer, Kasey Kemmerer, and Blondell and other great nieces and nephews, step grand children and great grandchildren of S.C.. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Brian David officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens - North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements.
