Melonie Morris, born on November 18, 1980, in Kansas, left this world peacefully in her home on October 9, 2025. She was a cherished mother and grandmother, deeply loved by those who knew her.
As a high school graduate, Melonie's career was devoted to her family and community. Despite her challenges, she embraced life with an infectious spirit. Those fortunate enough to know her remember her as the life of the party; her vibrant personality could light up any room. Melonie had an unwavering love for watching cartoons and crime shows, and she possessed a remarkable gift for making friends with everyone she met, leaving no stranger unacknowledged.
Faith held a significant place in Melonie's heart; she was a strong Christian and a proud Baptist. Her faith not only guided her through life's difficulties but also inspired those around her.
Melonie is survived by her beloved daughter, Libby Morris, and her son, William "B.J." Morris. She was also a proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Paisley Dyer. In addition to her immediate family, Melonie leaves behind other extended family members who will miss her deeply.
She was predeceased by her mother, Fran Brown, and her grandparents, Elizabeth and Charlie Borgognoni. Their legacy will forever be intertwined with the loving memories of Melonie.
A visitation will be held on October 17, 2025, at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral, located at 125 Buchanan Ave, Nettleton, MS. Friends and family can share their remembrances from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A memorial service will follow at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, concluding at 12:00 PM.
Melonie Morris will be remembered for her warmth, outgoing nature, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
