Melsadie was born December 10, 1936 to parents James and Gladys Glenn, and was raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica W.I. She was raised and went to school in Montego Bay. She moved to Kingston, Jamaica, where she started her family, and a successful career as a Seamstress.
In 1974 Melsadie migrated to the United States (New York), where she began a new career path as a Certified Nurse's Aide. She continued her passion of sewing as well. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and baking, music, and was a devout gardener. She resided in Port Chester, NY and Mt Vernon NY 1974-2016, after which she migrated to North Carolina.
Melsadie was predeceased in death by her parents James and Gladys Glenn. Melsaide is survived by her daughters Pauline, Joan and Dionne. Grandchildren Lisa, Major, Dionna, Kristina, BJ, Mario and Mike. Great-Grandchildren Julianna and Ne'kiel.
Sisters: Leonie Borchetta and Louise Glenn.
