Melva Dee Magallan rested peacefully in God's hands on August 21,2025, where she joined Both her Loving Parents Felipe and Gregoria Magallan along with Son Daniel Luis and two sisters Rebecca and Norma Flores.
Melva was born on March 30,1965 in Mission, Tx. to Felipe and Gregoria Magallan, where she grew up with her 8 sisters and all her cousins. She will always be remembered as being such a big hearted person who was a blast to be around. Melva was a CNA for over 26 years. She cared for so many and loved every part of being there for others. She always brought joy and laughter to everyone who ever met her.
Melva will be dearly missed by her beloved 4 children David, Jeanette, Jessica and Priscilla as well as 12 Grandchildren Joslyn, Luis, Jesiah, Skyla, Kaylie, Myalee, Zarriah, Destiny, Isabella, Elijah, Xzena and Emery whom all loved there grandmother so much. They would like to share a poem with you for their grandmother.
"GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED"
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be So he put his arms around you and whispered " Come To Me " With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away And although we love you dearly We could not make you stay. A Golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He Only Takes The Best.
Our Family would like to send our deepest Thanks to Everyone who has supported us during this difficult time and offered to help in any way they could to make this all possible for our mother. You will forever be in our hearts. We would also like to invite you and anyone who knew our Mother to come join our family in her Celebration of Life Ceremony.
Let's Celebrate Melva's life at her Memorial Service this coming Friday August 29, 2025 From 4:00pm- 8:00pm with her Rosary service at 7:00pm at Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Old Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, Tx. 78666. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Melva, please visit our Tree Store.
