Melvin Bennett Obituary
Melvin Bennett, 53, of Albuquerque, NM passed away comfortably and peacefully of the end stage renal failure on March 29th, 2023. He was surrounded by friends and family who cared for him.
Melvin was born on 11/1/1969 to Odean Marie Collier in Santa Fe, NM.
Melvin wasn't into organized religion but comsidered himself to be Christian. He loved his family and spending time with them was a high priority for him. Some of Melvin's favorite activities and hobbies were long walks, he loved hip-hop and R&B. He enjoyed collecting things, he liked lottery scratcher tickets and music.
Melvin was predeceased by his mother Odean Marie Collier and father Billy Joe Hobbs, and a sister Mabel Nelson.
He is survived by a host of aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Sisters Arlene Hobbs of Albuquerque and Christine Neal of Albuquerque and Cheronda Hobbs, and a host of friends and loved ones.
