Melvin "Billl" Borock

Melvin "Bill" Borock, age 93, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born February 5, 1932, to the late Irving and Eva (nee Weitzman) Borock. Devoted husband to Beth (nee Lee) Borock. Loving father of Arlene (Steve) Balczo, Marci (Dan) Steele, the late Lori (Randy) Linder, and late Barbara Borock. Dear grandfather to Dori (Matt) Koewler, Megan (Kris) Foster, Jessie Steele, Alexandria (Nick) Godfrey, and Justin (Taylor) Balczo. Bill also leaves behind his eleven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as his brother, Don (Margy) Borock, and his brother-in-law Jerry Lee.

Bill was drafted into the United States Army in 1953 and deployed to foreign shores for the Korean War where he attained the rank of Corporal. Sometime after his return stateside, Bill worked for Proctor and Gamble as a financial analyst and subsequently retired after 25 years.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 5, at 11AM at Weil Kahn Funeral Home (8350 Cornell Rd. Cincinnati, OH. 45249) where guests will be received from 10AM until time of service. Burial will follow immediately at United Jewish Cemetery Clifton (730 Ludlow Ave. Cincinnati, OH. 45220). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati in honor of Bill.
