Merced Zuniga Reyes 65, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2025 at College Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Taylor, officiating. Lunch reception will be held 12-2 PM before memorial service.
Merced was born November 12. 1960. Merced was a loving husband, father grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved to spend time with his furry kids listening to wind chimes in his patio. He loved making artwork to hang around the house.
Merced was proceeded in death by his parent's Salvador Reyes and Carmen Zuniga.
Survived by his wife, Adelita Reyes of 40 wonderful years.
His children:
Son; Reymundo and Maribel P Martinez, children; Reymundo III and wife Roxann Martinez, Matthew and wife Stephanie Martinez, Katarina and husband, Juan Rodriguez, Ezekiel and wife, Clarissa Martinez, Jonathan Ortega and Peter Ortega. 11 grandchildren
Daughter; Reyna Christina and Husband Rene Amador, Children; Aaron and wife Bethany Amador
Son;Enrique Rey and wife Christina Martinez,
Children ; Melony Martinez , Adrian Cordova, Chelsie Martinez, Maria and husband Edward Hernandez, Brianna Martinez, Enrique Rey Jr Martinez, Ricky Martinez, Lucas Martinez, Davin Valverde, Valarie Valverde, and Laney Valverde. 17 grandchildren
Daughter; Joanne Rey Martinez, children; Rene III and wife Carissa Enriquez, Hailee and husband Allen Palomino, Gavan Blaze Enriquez

Merced, cherished his special cousin Armando Magallanes, who was always there to lend a helping hand.
