Meredith Smith Obituary
Meredith Smith loved going to the beach and spending time with her dog Diesel. There was nothing she loved more than trailing jeeps and rescuing animals. Where she started when she found her foster fail Diesel in 2017.
Meredith Leigh Smith leaves on this earth two beautiful cherished daughters Ashlyn Smith (Paige) and Nydia Simmons (Damerrick) (both of Charlotte, NC). She also leaves behind her two grandchildren, a granddaughter Aubrey Roddy and grandson Ezekiel Wooten (all of Charlotte, NC) Additionally she leaves her parents Kim and Pete Rice (Charlotte, NC), her younger brother Charles Rice (Amy) (Auburndale, Florida) and grandparents Betty and Rayvon Almond (Locust, NC)
Meredith Smith leaves a host of other relatives and friends here on this earth including her best friend and special family friend of the family Katherine Gibson (Kansas)
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland officiated by Pastor Eddie Barbee.
