Merietta West served Christ and honored and loved her fellow human beings. She gave all she had to her students, and it was my gift to be one of them when she did substitute teaching at Briggsdale High School. I will always remember her in the fondest way. Her eyes have seen into the eyes of the glorified Christ, and she has heard his eternal words of well done. God keep her and everyone she loves forever.
