Merry Oncale Obituary
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland on Thursday, July 18, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial in church cemetery.
Merry is survived by her husband of 62 years, Frank Alfred Oncale; daughters, Helen Alonzo, Franky Carlisle and Neil, and Merry Johnson and Adrian Dufrene; brother, Tony Walker and Louise; sister, Ruby Walters and Kenneth "Ken"; sister-in-law, Peanut Walker; grandchildren, Joseph LeBlanc and Brooke, Jessica Dufrene and Todd Lucas Jr., Coty Jones and Kristi, Colby Dufrene and Erin Lloyd, Katie Johnson, Ramey Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Damon Theriot, Zari Jones, Carter Black, Kai Dufrene and Frankie Johnson.
Merry was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall "Farrel" Walker and Lois Dupre Walker; and brothers, Harold, Tommy and Hershal Walker.
