Micah Iosefa Lio

Micah Lio Obituary

Micah Iosefa Lio, 33, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, with his loving wife, Marissa, by his side.
He was the devoted husband of Marissa (née Houdek); beloved son of Sam and the late Elizabeth (née Dillner); dearest brother of Joshua (Alana) and Tavita (Anna); dear uncle of Masina, Matai, Kalani and Juniper; grandson of Loretta Dillner; son-in-law of Paul and Carla Houdek; and brother-in-law of Colin Houdek (Angela Bohley) and Kevin Houdek. He is also survived by many dear friends and his dog, Lemon.
Micah was born and raised in Butler, and then played football for and graduated from the University of Akron. He and Marissa moved to Baltimore for five happy years. When they returned to Cleveland, he worked in the oncology field, a role he excelled in and was extremely passionate about. He was a fervent protector of the ones he loved, with a positive demeanor and a vibrant and lovable personality. He enjoyed sports, good food, travel and trying new things. But, most of all, spending time with those he loved. He will be missed immensely and his memory will be forever carried forward by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions made in his name to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance by visiting www.colorectalcancer.org.

Sam, Josh, Tavita and all other family members,
So very sorry to hear of Micah's passing. He was always such a respectful
and friendly young man. And a true gentle giant at a very young age for sure. It's no surprise he did well with his life. Micah was truly of a reflection of his entire family. May God bless all of
abundantly in your time of need.

Sam - have not seen you for quite some time but I hope this finds you in
good health.
Josh and Tavita - glad to see your lives are progressing well.

My heart is heavy! Sending prayers and thoughts for Micah, though he was somewhat of a distant associate! He brought light into every room and will be dearly missed, and forever missed! Thanks to Micah´s parents for giving birth to such an incredible individual.
