SFC Michael Olumayowa Adeyanju, U.S. Army, 36, died June 19, 2022 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was born March 18, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Babatunde and Deborah Temilade (Ijasan) Adeyanju.
Michael was an avionic systems repairer in the U.S. Army. Some of his awards during his time in the army included: Army Commendation Medal – 2, Army Achievement Medal – 2, ArmyGood Conduct Medal – 4, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star – 3, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Non-commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon – 2, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon – 5, NATO Medal, Aviation Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Marksman Qualification Badge Sharpshooter – Pistol.
Michael spent his time riding motorcycles with his friends. He loved his military job, spending time with his family during the holidays, Tesla stock, or anything related to Tesla, and building custom computers as a hobby. In addition to working out and playing video games.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph Babatunde and Deborah Temilade Adeyanju; his sister, Josephine Adeyanju; and brothers, Charles Adeyanju, Richard Adeyanju, Victor Adeyanju, and James Adeyanju.
