Michael "Bones" Dean Allison Sr., 70, residing in Bellevue, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at Bellevue Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Michael was born on February 11, 1955 in Sandusky, OH to the late William and Ruth (Davis) Allison.
Michael was a 1973 graduate of Perkins High School and a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country from 1976 to 1979. He retired in 2013 from CertainTeed in Sandusky after 21 years of dedicated service and was an active member of the VFW and Amvets. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed watching sports, especially cheering for the Raiders and Guardians, and spent many years playing softball. He also loved watching Westerns, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his six children, Michael (Roz) Allison of Sandusky, Andrea (Brandon) Blankenship of Bellevue, Derek (Kristin) Allison of Huron, Jordin (fiancé, Clay Leser) Sidoti of Sandusky, Olivia Sidoti of Sandusky and Rylee Allison of Sandusky; six grandchildren, Lexus (Austen) Geffeller, Autumn Blankenship, Hendrik Allison, Ace and Axel Thompson, and Sicily Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Sadie and Emmett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his brothers, William, Charles and Timothy Allison.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
