Michael Anthony Amparano of Pinedale, CA.
Michael passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the age of 64. His battle with serious medical conditions over the last fifteen years showed his passion and courage in facing life's challenges with a smile, despite all the pain he endured, Michael put up a good fight all the way to the end.
Michael was born in Fresno, CA to Mike & Inez Amparano.
At the tender age of 13, Michael was in charge of maintaining the family ranch that consisted of our Horses, Bull "Lightning", and nearly 4 acres of land. We spent many summers enjoying the family ranch and swimming in the canal that he kept up for all our family and friends. He was a graduate of Clovis High School class of 1976. In 1987 he fell in love with his wife Patricia, when it comes to his wife he was a hopeless romantic, he loved her dearly and always made his calls to a few family members to plan something special for her. He loved to see the smile on her face when he gave her roses on every special occasion. They are the definition of true love.
At the age of 17, he was introduced and mentored to the Plastering trade by Cousin Joe Garcia with Perez Plastering, Owner Sport Perez, and Son Jerry Perez, he was then given the nickname "Fluffy". Throughout his career of 35+ years he was fortunate to work with various companies; P&G Plastering, Incon (interior contractors), Broege Construction, Mike Nelson Company Inc., and enjoyed many years of accomplishing his side work under his own name "Mike's Plastering". Although he worked in many cities throughout California, he was blessed to also work in the state of Hawaii for several months. Michael formed a brotherhood with so many great people, but there are a few that became lifetime brothers; Compa Joe Casteneda, Louie Rodriguez, Hank Sandoval, most of all his Homeboy, our cousin David Garcia and many more. Michael and his plastering crew volunteered their services to several charitable organizations such as; St. Agnes Mission Church at which he was an active parishioner, The VFW Post 8900, and for many friends and families.
He would eventually retire with Northern California Operative Plasterers and Cement Masons Local 300.
Michael was a devoted, Husband, Son, Father, Brother, Nino, Tio, Grandpa, & Cousin. He was a loyal friend to all who knew him.
Michael was a very kind, gentle, and simple man; he had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. He brought so much joy and laughter to all our family with all his jokes and pranks. He enjoyed watching movies as he was an avid moviegoer, a dedicated fan of the; Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Yankees, he enjoyed many family trips all over but his all-time favorite was our annual family trips to Disneyland and even more so when his partner Gabby was born. He will always be known for his beautiful yard that he worked so hard on to look perfect. He had several special projects at home but the one he took most pride in was the classroom he built for his great-nieces who he cherished. His all-time favorite was to spend time with his family and most of all his Mom.
He is preceded in death by his Father Mike Amparano.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Patricia Amparano; Mother Inez Amparano; Son Vincent Amparano and his wife Antonette; Grandchildren, Andria, Valerie, and Arianna; Sisters, Yolanda Amparano and partner Louie Rodriguez, Annette Amparano and partner Gabriel Chavez, Christy Molinary and husband Rick Molinary, Lisa Nino and husband Daniel Nino;
