MICHAEL ANDERSON Obituary
Michael Aaron Anderson was born on June 28, 1953, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert Louis Anderson whom he affectionately called "The General" and Grace M. Meredith Driver. He was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Early and Mary Taylor, who played a significant role in shaping the man he became. Michael also shared a meaningful bond with his stepmother, Christy Anderson, who remained a steady and supportive presence in his life.
Michael was educated through the Indianapolis Public Schools system and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. He was a hardworking and dedicated individual who held several jobs over the years, always striving to provide for his loved ones especially the love of his life, Sabrina, and to serve others with kindness. They enjoyed life's simple pleasures, like watching their favorite shows together and spending quiet evenings at home.
In his younger days, Michael enjoyed swimming and playing basketball. He was also proud to be a member of the Black Angels Motorcycle Club, a group that held a special place in his heart.
Michael shared a deep and unbreakable bond with his sister, Penny Jo Torrence, and his niece, Carla Cohen, whom he loved and helped raise as a sister. Their connection was rooted in shared memories, mutual respect, and years of standing by one another through life's ups and downs. Penny Jo and Carla held a special place in Michael's heart he leaned on them, laughed with them, and cherished the closeness they shared.
