He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Andrews, Sr; his mother, Genevieve; brothers, Henry and Vernon Andrews Jr. (wife, Barbara); sister, Dawn Andrews; niece, Laurie Andrews; nephew, Timothy Andrews and brother-in-law, William Steeno Sr.
Special thank you to everyone at St Vincent hospital who helped with Mike and made his last days comfortable and also to Tom, who has always been there for Mike. You were a great friend, thank you.
There will be no funeral at this time. We will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
Message to Mike from his girlfriend, Lonna: Heavens lucky to have you and so was Barney and I. Forever and a day, love you always Lonna and Barney Bear. Barney Bear was Mike's black cat. If he was outside, Barney was with him.
