THOMASTON
MICHAEL J. ANGELILLO
"Loving Father, Grandfather and Uncle"
Michael Angelillo, age 75 of Thomaston passed away peacefully on February 28, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of late Kathleen (Rose) Angelillo who passed away in August 2014.
Mike was born March 10, 1948 in Waterbury, a son of late Henry and Millie (Gallaso) Angelillo. Anyone who knew Mike knew his love for cameras and his workmanship was best shown in his two businesses Mike's Camera Shops in Waterbury and Oakville which he opened in the 1980's before retiring in 2004. Mike also enjoyed traveling and going on vacation with his family, his priority was always to make sure everyone was having fun and making lasting memories, his favorite trip was Las Vegas where he was able to bring his whole family. His most recent favorite memories were made with his granddaughter Victoria watching her grow up the past eight years; he cherished every moment. She was his sunshine.
Mike lived every day for his family, he was considered the patriarch and glue that kept everyone together and will be greatly missed by all. Mikes last wish for his family and friends was for them to have peace knowing he is now reunited with his one true love. He will be watching over all who loved him and that he is thankful for the memories he has shared with everyone.
Mike is survived by his son Michael, daughter in law Kaitlynn and granddaughter Victoria all of Terryville along with his niece Lisa Relihan and her three boys Richard, Christopher, Keith and his seven great nieces and a great nephew who he loved dearly.
The family will be having a celebration of life for Mike. Please reach out to the family for more details.
Arrangements: Funeral services and burial are private at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury is assisting his family with arrangements.
