Michael Babb Obituary
Michael was a 1963 graduate of Dayton High School. He then went on to serve in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972. After returning from the Air Force, he attended Purdue University before transferring to Indiana University and earning his bachelor's degree in 1980. He worked as an Auditor for the State Board of Accounts until his retirement in 2004. Michael was a quiet man with a great sense of humor. He was a loving uncle that enjoyed reading, researching Genealogy, and taking pictures of nature.
Along with his wife of 20 years, Michael is survived by his father-in-law, Robert Yost; cousins and Shirley's family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held, Monday, May 2, 2022, from 10am until the time of the service at 12pm at Genda Funeral Home ~ Mulberry Chapel. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's honor to the Parkinson's Foundation.

Served in the USAFSS with Mike: language school in Monterey, eventually followed with airborne service in Okinawa and Vietnam. He was intelligent, kind, gentle and personable in his interactions with other airmen!

I was in The USAF with Mike. We were students together at The Presidio in Monterey, CA. He was a great guy who helped me acclimate to the military. One of the nices men I´ve ever known/. My condolences to his family.

Very sorry for your loss. Knew Mike from the Air Force and have always considered him the perfect comrade in arms able to keep a sense of humor even in Viet Nam.
