Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home - CalhounMichael Albert Bailey passed away on August 30, 2025, in Calhoun, Georgia, at the age of 60. Born on February 5, 1965, in Rome, Georgia, he spent his early years in Adairsville before permanently residing in Calhoun. Michael was the son of Harvey and Nellie (Tootsie) Bailey. His grandparents were Joseph and Bonnie Woodring Bailey and A.M. and Pearl Hammonds Whitlow. All of whom preceded him in death, as well as his brother, Matthew Bailey.
He is survived by his children: Andrew (Meagan) Bailey, Raymond (Lindsay) Swinford, and Angela Bailey Cochran.
Michael’s legacy continues through his grandchildren- Cameron, Reyghan, and Carsyn Cochran; Britney, Heidi, Justin, Johnathon, and Amelia Swinford- as well as his great-grandson, Riley Swinford. He is also survived by his brothers, Rodger (Brenda) Bailey and Greg Bailey, along with numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at First Christian Church of Adairsville, 113 Park St.
A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM. There will be finger foods after the service.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Michael Albert Bailey.
