Michael Beaudreau

Ernest Michael Beaudreau (known to many as Ekim Beau) was born on November 27, 1950, in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, and passed away peacefully at his home in Cleveland, Georgia, onNovember 13, 2025, at the age of 74.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Kathleen Beaudreau, and by his son, Thomas Walker Beaudreau.
Ernest is survived by his children Jennifer Steele, Joshua Beaudreau, and Patrick
Beaudreau, and by their mother, Marylou Beaudreau. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Trinity Foster (Cris), Logan Beaudreau (Carrie), Erika Ball (Dalton), Jennalyn Ball, Timothy Beaudreau,
Benjamin Beaudreau, and Grayson Steele. Ernest is additionally survived by his lifelong best friend, Lynne Pendleton, and his sisters Kathleen Kahle, Linda Sutherland, Susan Kreeger, and Patricia Williams.
A gifted, self-taught musician from a young age, Ernest expressed his creativity through music in remarkable ways. He designed and built a unique 126-string zither, a project he completed with the help of his four children. His life was one of travel, performance, and artistic exploration. Ernest enjoyed a successful musical career, appearing on Nashville Now at the Grand Ole Opry, Hee Haw, and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
Known for his eccentric personality, boundless creativity, and unforgettable musical style, Ernest brought joy to countless people throughout his life. His music, passion, and spirit will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him
