Michael Bogs Obituary
Michael T. Bogs, age 63 lifetime resident of Iowa City died Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Downtown Campus of the UIHC in Iowa City.
Michael Todd Bogs was born December 28, 1962, in Iowa City the son of Albert and Lorraine (Westfall) Bogs. Attending schools in Iowa City Mike graduated with the Class of 1981 from City High School. Following high school Mike got a job at the Iowa Department of Corrections working there for a number of years. Mike continued as a huge fan of his City High School, the Iowa Hawkeyes and the St. Louis Cardinals.
His family includes his brother, Tim Bogs and his wife, Mary; seven nieces and nephews, Amy, Kathy, Paul, Scott, Katie, Tina and Alicia. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Terry, Steve and Sherri Bogs; and uncle Paul.
