Michael Boley Obituary
Michael was born September 27, 1967 the son of Denzel "Denny" Boley and Jane (Runge) Boley in Vandalia, IL. He was a member of the Vandalia Moose Lodge #1447, Old National Trail Shrine Club, Shriners Tin Lizzy Patrol, and the Masonic Temperance Lodge #16, A.F.A.M. all in Vandalia, IL. He also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Vandalia Fire Department. Michael loved the outdoors and enjoyed going hunting.
He is survived by his mother; Jane Boley, his children; Haley (Jacob) Tompkins, and Brendan (Anna Miller) Boley all of Vandalia, IL, his grandchildren; Vivian Boley and Cutler Tompkins, and his aunts and uncle; Brad & Debbie Boley of Vandalia, IL and Linda Morton of St. Peter, IL.
He is preceded in death by his father; Denny Boley, and his sister; Shelley Boley.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia, IL from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will follow, also at the funeral home, at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor Robert Weaver. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial donations are up to the donor's choice. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL is in charge of arrangements. Online memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.millerfh.net.
