After graduating from Rye High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1961, upon which he was honorably discharged and bestowed a Good Conduct Medal. Pete enjoyed a lengthy career as an electrician, contributing to major projects including the wiring of the Tappan Zee Bridge and Metro North Railroad. He was a proud member of the Local 3 IBEW. Pete loved boating from the time he was young, which he graciously shared with his children and grandchildren. Throughout his adult life, Pete was a member of the Rye Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed spending summers on his boat, be that fishing, lobstering, or commiserating with friends and family.
Pete was a kind, caring, generous, funny, and loving man who will be missed by his family and friends.
