Michael Wayne Broyles

Mr. Michael Wayne Broyles, age 80, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Mr. Broyles was born in Louisville, KY on June 5, 1943 to the late Leroy "Butch" Broyles and Neva Mae Broyles. He was a graduate of Saint Xavier High School, class of 1962, retired from both ABC Fence Company and the United States Postal Service and he was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, Gerald Broyles and Kevin Broyles preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 59 ½ years, Mary Lee Passafiume Broyles; children, David Broyles (Michelle) and Christie Vaughn (Joe); grandchildren, Carissa Jury, Brienne Broyles, Kendahl Broyles, Kelsey Broyles, Tyler Childress, Trevor Childress, Allison Heffley (Jarrod) and Rachel Brooks (Josh); great-grandchildren, Reagan, James, Oliver and Clark and a host of other dear family and friends.
Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday April 4, 2024 at St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Hwy., Louisville) with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 3 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.
