Michael Chase Anthony Buechele, born on January 10, 2002, in the vibrant city of Louisville, departed from this world far too soon on August 18, 2025. He was a remarkable spirit, a young man whose life, albeit brief, was marked by passions that illuminated the lives of those around him.
From an early age, Michael exhibited a flair for adventure and a drive to pursue his dreams. A poignant symbol of his aspirations was his cherished red Ford Mustang GT, a proud emblem of his burgeoning independence and spirit. This car was not just a machine to him; it held the essence of exhilarating rides where he explored the open road with a playful heart and the wind whipping through his hair. In addition to driving, the maintenance and admiration of his Mustang became a steadfast passion, fueling an appreciation for precision and care that likely mirrored his approach to life itself.
Michael's legacy is woven through the hearts and memories of those who loved him dearly. He is survived by his devoted parents, Elizabeth Schoenhoff Ogle (Brian) and Michael Burgan. Michael had a daughter, Finley Davis. His siblings — Austin Buechele (Harley), Isaac Ogle, Shay Ogle, Makayla Ogle, and Lillian Schoenhoff — will carry forward the laughter and joy he shared with them, holding fast to the memories of carefree moments spent together.
Michael was also embraced by his caring grandparents, Angela Autry (Raymond) and Orville Schoenhoff (Ayla), who offered him the warmth of family and the wisdom of generations. Their legacy continues to shine through Michael, reminding all who knew him of the bonds of love that transcend time.
As we gather to remember Michael, we will celebrate his vibrant spirit and the indelible footprints he left in our hearts. The visitation will take place at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, KY, on August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM, where we will honor a life lived fully, albeit briefly, and find solace in the connections that he nurtured.
Michael Chase Anthony Buechele may no longer walk among us, but his adventurous soul and loving spirit will forever reverberate in the memories and lives of those fortunate enough to have known him.
