Michael Dewayne Burchfield, 39, of Calhoun, Georgia,died from injuries received in an accident on Friday, September 13, 2024. He was born in Dalton, Georgia, on September 23, 1984, to Randall Michael Stephens and Jackie Sue Burchfield.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Burchfield; son, Dylan Burchfield; daughters, Lea Wright, Tiffany Baldwin, and Ashley Maddox; brothers, Chris Burchfield, Joseph Stephens, Jonathan Stephens, Mark Patterson, Randall Stephens; sisters, Angela Burchfield, Cheyanna Stephens; grandchild, Skylar Stanley; grandfather; grandmother, Mary Ruth Maddox; other survivors, Hannah Burchfield, Hunter Burchfield, Haven Burchfield, Autumn Sheriff, Landon Morgan, Tesslyn Taylor, Justin Burchfield, Leila Stephens, Mayleigh Stephens, Russell Stephens, and Tom Patterson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Wayne West officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jonathan Stephens, Joseph Stephens, Corey Maddox, Kenneth Burchfield, Mark Patterson, and Gene Simerley.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
