Michael Bruce Campbell

Michael Bruce Cambell, of Milford, MI passed away in the early afternoon hours of Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was 65 years old.
Mike was born on May 31, 1960, in Madison, Wisconsin, to proud parents M. Bruce and Florence Campbell. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication.
Mike enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a news reporter in radio broadcasting for local WWJ Newsradio 950. His voice was a familiar and trusted presence to listeners across the region, and his commitment to his craft earned him the respect of colleagues and audiences alike.
Outside the newsroom, Mike embraced life with open arms and an open heart. He loved sailing, watching sunsets and sunrises over the ocean, feeling the sand beneath his feet at the beach, and marveling at the beauty of cool cars. Autumn trips up north to take in Michigan's fall colors with his beloved wife, Terri were among his favorite traditions.
A true family man, Mike found joy spending time helping Terri in her garden, and his greatest pride was his eight children, and all of his cherished grandchildren. Above all else, he adored Terri, his soulmate and the love of his life. Mike's memory will live on in the stories he told, the family he nurtured, and the numerous lives he touched.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Terri Campbell (nee. Gevedon); his children, Daniel Fabrizio, Angela (Matthew) Woodbeck, Stephen (Mallory) Fabrizio, Tehya Campbell, Brendan Campbell, Kaleb Campbell, Nicholas Campbell, and Jordan Campbell; his grandchildren, Cole, Madalynn, and Olivia Fabrizio, Joseph, Karagan, and Caden Woodbeck; his mother, Florence Campbell; his sisters, Laura (John) Witczak, Mari (Eric) Veenstra, and Debra Simko, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, M. Bruce Campbell, and his sister, Joan Sandall.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381 on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 3:00PM - 8:00PM.
Funeral services from Oak Pointe Church, 1250 South Hill Road, Milford, MI 48381 on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11:00AM. Family and friends may gather at the church beginning at 10:00AM. Pastor Paul Jenkinson officiating.
