Michael James Carnes Jr., 51 of Lockport, NY passed away on December 10th, 2022. He is survived by his parents Cynthia Converso and Michael and Denise Carnes; his children Kendra, Dustin, Nathaniel, Xzavier and Christina; and "Papa Bear" to Aiden, Michael, Aubreigh, and William III. He is also the brother of David(Jill), Robert(Erin O'Byrne), Derek(Deanna) and Adam Carnes(Alyssa Sciria).
Mikey graduated from Barker High School in 1990 where he excelled on the football field. He earned a degree in Machine Trades at Niagara-Orleans BOCES. Mikey then pursued a career as a machinist for over 17 years.
Mikey was blessed with a large and loving family who shared his love for motorcycles, and the Buffalo Sabres(Let's Go Buffalo). Mikey will be missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Private services will be held and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting Save the Michaels of the World.www.savethemichaels.org
