Mike, I miss our friendship and our days off in the Adirondacks after working coaching. Thinking of you.

I met Mike during the summer of 2009 at Raquette Lake Camps in the Adirondacks of upstate New York where we worked during the summer months. Mike was in charge of teaching and training tennis players and I was in charge of teaching and training soccer players. We became friends ever since. He was a courteous and well-mannered human being. Our conversations, Mikes with his Carolinas accent and me with the Spanish one (Im from Madrid-Spain) were wonderful and I miss that very much. As a retired former California firefighter I had my share of sad incidents in my career but the loss of my friend Mike was and is extremely sad for me. I miss our conversations and our trips all over the Adirondacks during our days off from working at the camp. R.I.P my friend. Fernando Rodríguez Sánchez

I just found out of Mike passing right now when my phone calls and text messages were not answer. So I checked and well I found out of his passing. I met Mike at Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks mountains of upstate New York in the summer of 2009 where we both worked teaching. Mike taught tennis and I taught soccer. We traveled around New York State in our days off with our other friend and Mike's tennis assistant Jay. We became friends ever since. Mike was a very special human being. I will certainly miss him but I will always remember our times together teaching in the beautiful Adirondacks Mountains

Mike Casey, I loved you like you were my own Brother. I truly am going to miss this guy. Mike was my Boss when we both worked for the City of Tampa, Parks and Recreation Department. I began knowing him in 2005. He was the Director of Tennis for the City of Tampa, Florida. He was our Leader. He came into the City with a vision for Tennis. For those of us who bought into his vision, he bought us an enthusiastic creativeness that enriched the lives of many. He lead us with a natural ability to create the positive, and he always put his concerns for others ahead of himself. We all can not possibly say how much this guy meant to us. We were all truly blessed to have been acquainted with this man. My condolences go to his Family and close friends. This man was excellent!

Vicky I'm so sorry to read this sad news about Mike. Mike was the nicest man and the first man I met when I moved to Heron Pointe. He will be missed but I know he's in a better place.
Condolences to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I met Mike when I first moved into the Waterbury neighborhood 10 years ago. Mike was a fine man that cared for his friends and neighbors. I have great respect for him.
Rest In Peace.

My prayers and condolences to Mike's family. I am a friend of Sarah Casey and I met Mike in Washington D.C. I found him to be an inspiring and a motivating gentleman. I'll never forget the time when Sarah told me that Mike and his beautiful wife, Vickie, were taking into their home Mike's dad, also known as papa, when he became elderly. Mike shared with me that he enjoyed having his father live with him. Mike was selfless and had a heart bigger than the entire world. I remember talking to him as though it was yesterday. He made an impression on me because he was so down to earth. We all know that he is in a great place in heaven.

To Patrick and the entire Casey clan, deepest condolences for your loss, I'd know Mike ALL through grade school playing on many of the St. Jane's sports teams with him. Great friend, great athlete, we were thirty miles apart in College and never knew it (High Point and Guilford Colleges). SO sad to here of his passing. To the Casey clan, Made the road rise up to meet you...and may God hold you all in the palm of His hand during this difficult time.
