Michael Castro was born January 20th, 1956, in Jan Jose California. He left us July 7, 2025, in Sacramento California. He is sadly leaving behind a loving wife, Rosemarie, two sons, Jerome and Roman. His Mother, Dora. Sister, Stacy along with her Husband Walt. His Sister in-law Angle. His brother Ray. His father in-law Armindo. His brother in-law, Steven, and all his aunts, Uncles, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, and so many friends. He won't be alone though as he is joining his dad, Roy, his brother Curtis, his mother in-law Anna, and sister in-law MaryAnn who went ahead of him.
Michael was a husband that loved his wife dearly. He would plan trips to places he knew RoseMarie wanted to go, so they could enjoy them together.
He was also a loving and caring father to two sons Jerome and Roman. Michael traveled all over but every time he went to San Jose for anything he would always see if he could spend some time with his sons. Sometimes he would make the trip out there just to see them or help them with a project. He wanted to be there for them in any way he could.
Although Michael was a loving husband and father let's not forget he was also a son and brother. He was always going over to help his mom with whatever she needed, whenever she asked, and many times even when she didn't know she needed help with something. He also helped RoseMarie all the time with his Father in-law. Helping fix things at the house, helping set appointments up for whatever he needed taken care of. He was always caring and thoughtful to all his family and helped them in any way he could.
Lastly but not least he was a great friend to so many people. He lived many years in San Jose, most of his life to be honest, but you wouldn't know it because he made friends so easily that he has just as many in Valley Springs and the surrounding area. He was always meeting someone somewhere and inviting them to go out on the boat or take a trip somewhere. He was just that kind of guy. Michael didn't just go places to have fun with his friends. He was always offering to help fix things for them, visit them when they were sick, and be a sounding board when they were hurting or upset.
Michael loved helping others so much that when he saw there was an opportunity to so on a larger scale he jumped on it. He was on the board for many organizations like the current one The Brotherhood of St. Anthony Grand council, and Portuguese groups all over.
Michael knew it was his time before anyone else did and had excepted it. Michael's passing was very quick and quiet. Just the way he wanted it. Although he was always there at the drop of a hat for others, he didn't want to bother anyone with himself. The only thing he was worried about in the end was his family. In the end Micheal never complained or wanted to bother people. He just wanted everyone to be happy and take care of each other. Michael will be missed terribly by all his family and friends. he always tried to be everywhere for everyone. Now he will be everywhere with everyone all the time.
