Michael Wayne “Mike” Cecil, 65, of Snow Camp, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday. April 22, 2025 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. Mike and his wife, Robin Suitt Cecil have been sweethearts for over 36 years.
Mike was born in Forsyth County to the late Luther Samuel Cecil, Jr. and Francis Lorrain Long Cecil. He grew up in a Christian Home and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, directing his steps all his life. He was a faithful member of Open Bible Baptist Church. He was a talented autobody tech and painter restoring cars along with his father for 15 years at C & E Enterprises and later with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. Mike loved Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr. the “Big E” or “Intimidator”. He was a patriot who loved all things American especially “Harley Davidson Motorcycles” which he loved riding with friends and family. Mike’s greatest desire was to share Jesus with everyone he met in hopes that they would accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Mike is survived by his wife, Robin Suitt Cecil of the home; son, Larry Suitt and wife, Lockett of Graham; grandchildren, Zoe Urbina-Maya and husband, Francisco, Vanessa Chavez, Elizabeth Chavez and Sarah Suitt; great granddaughter, Mila Urbina-Maya’ brothers, Jeffrey Cecil and wife, Tamara L. Cecil of Lexington and Eddie Wall and wife, Carolyn of Winston Salem; special brother-in-law, Adrian Lane and a niece, Tiffany Bishop and husband, Luke; a nephew, Shane Penn and wife, Sarah and a great niece, Harper Lynne Bishop and great nephew, Hunter Logan Bishop. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sherry Lane.
A Service to Celebrate his Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Steve Pruitt and Dr. Robert Long. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at his mothers-in-law at other times.
