Mike was a lifelong resident of Coleman, Oklahoma. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was enlisted during the Vietnam War. He married Rena Beth (White) Collins on October 18, 1968 in Coleman, Oklahoma.
He liked being outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking care of cattle.
He was preceded in death by his parents Della Inez (Dean) and Loyd Dee Collins; daughter Jeanne Kay Collins; sisters Carol Sheets, Linda Barron; brothers-in-law Lynn Sheets, Orval White, Cecil White; sisters-in-law Florene Van Hauter, and LaRue Hamilton.
Survivors include his loving wife Rena Beth (White) Collins of the home; son Joey Collins and wife Danna of Coleman, Oklahoma; grandchildren Cole Collins of Coleman, Oklahoma, Allison Collins of Coleman, Oklahoma; brothers Jim Collins, Doug Collins and wife Sheila; brothers-in-law Rex Barron, Lewis White; sisters-in-law Ann Isenberg, Debra Shockey; numerous nieces, nephews, as well as other extended family and friends.
Cremation services have been selected.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. 3rd, Durant, 580-916-9090
