Michael Dale Collins Jr., affectionately known as Mikie, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born on October 31, 1973, and lived his life as a fun-loving and kind-hearted man, touching the lives of everyone he encountered.
Mikie worked as a travel agent with The Mike's Travel and also served as a beloved bartender at La Cabana in Irvine, Kentucky. His infectious spirit and dedication to making others happy were evident in all his endeavors.
He is survived by his devoted partner of 20 years, Mike Noland, and their cherished dogs, Buddy and Bailey James. Mikie also leaves behind his loving parents, Mike and Jenny Collins, his sister Jenny Jo Niece and brother-in-law Andar Niece, and two nephews, Ty Michael Niece and Jax Darrel Niece.
Mikie's greatest joy was seeing those around him have fun and embrace life fully. In honor of his vibrant spirit, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his warmth, laughter, and zest for life.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.

Monte and I enjoyed Mikie and his planned trips for us. He loved "going places and seeing new things." We were blessed to share his passion for new adventures and new friends. May he rest in the Paradise he sought.
