Michael Blaine Collins, age 72, went to be with the Lord Saturday August 8, 2025. Born January 14, 1953, son of the late George and Beulah Sykes Collins. Michael worked as a self-employed carpenter and master home builder for at least 50 years. He was proud of the houses he built and was especially proud of his stone mason accomplishments. He loved working in his vegetable garden. He loved spending time with family, especially the grandkids. He loved all kinds of music. In later years he enjoyed listening to Lebanon’s WXLZ radio station. Listening to Thomas Taylor and Madison Miller were his favorites.
In addition to his parents Michael was preceded in death by his brothers: David Collins and Dennis Collins.
Michael is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan Collins; three sons: Osya Hall and wife Nicole, Azun Hall and wife Sarah, and Clinton Collins; daughter: Lori Sheppard; grandchildren: Micah Zane Hall, Jerry Austin Hall, Abigail Victoria Hall, Nevaeh Reynolds, Landon James Hall, Oakland Everett Collins, Braden Sheppard and Addison Sheppard
A celebration of life will be held at 7:00pm on Friday August 15, 2025, in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-7pm prior to the service.
