Michael C. Collyer, a Cortlandt Manor resident, died Dec.16, 2004, in N Y City. He was 62. Michael was an attorney in the Entertainment Business, working for Cascone, Cole, and Collyer, in Manhattan. He was born in New York on February 5, 1942, the son of Bud Collyer and Heloise Green Collyer. Michael proudly served his country in the US Army. On Nov. 13, 1999 he married Susan Bruyn at the Fifth Ave. Presbyterian Church. He previously worked for the firm of Kay, Collyer and Boose, in Manhattan. Mr. Collyer is Chairman Emeritus of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He is survived by his wife, Susan, a daughter Sophie, a son Matthew, and his 2 sisters, Cynthia Rapkin, and Pat Zavitz. A Memorial Service is being planned for the near future. Memorial Donations may be made to the Michael Collyer Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Croton/Cortlandt Center for the Arts, 293B Furnace Dock Rd., Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.

I was a friend from high school/college days in Greenwich, CT and saddened to hear of his passing. Mike, Jerry Anderson, Greg Brittain and I were pals back in those simple days! My condolences to the family.
