Michael E. “Wally” Columber, age 68 of Marion, OH died Oct. 10, 2025, at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born on Jan. 16, 1957, in Marion to the late Howard and Nellie (Lane) Columber. He married Lori (January) Columber on May 14, 1990, she survives along with a step-son Bryan (Ashley) Thompson, Caledonia, step-grandchildren Alexander and Bryanna, sister-in-law Tex Columber, 2 nephews, and best friends Dennis & Paula Ackers. He is preceded in death by a brother Walter Columber.
Mr. Columber worked at Right Storage, SOHIO Station, and delivered furniture for Sears. He was a member of VFW #3313, Marion. He enjoyed car rides in the country, fishing, and was an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU football fan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to VFW #3313 and can be mailed to VFW 961 N. Main St. Marion, OH 43302. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is honored to serve the Columber family.
