Michael Combs Obituary
Mr. Michael Ray Combs, 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. He was born on January 24, 1965 in Surry County to the late Rufus Ray Combs and Claudia Spicer Combs. Michael enjoyed trout fishing, cooking BBQ, and going camping at Stone Mountain. He worked for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture for 27.5 years. He was also proudly serving as a current town commissioner of Ronda. Most importantly he was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time and vacationing with his kids and grandkids.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Andrew (Randa) Combs, Ashleigh White, Alex (Silvia) Combs, and Abbie (Alex) Hobson; Grandchildren, Bo and Brylee Combs; Siblings, Teresa Easley and Rickey Combs (Misty Wilcox); the mother of his Children, Charlene Lambeth; Special Dog Companion, Brutus; Special Friend, Angie Coe; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Michael will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:30AM in the Gentry Family Chapel of Yadkinville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:30AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Burial will follow at Ronda Town Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff in the ICU Department of Atrium Health High Point for their love and care over Michael.
