Michael Lee Conner “Clutch”, 77, died December 3, 2025, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, Iowa. He was born to Wilber Clell (Bill) and Helen Virginia Paris Conner on March 4, 1948 in Sigourney, Iowa. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1966. He attended Parson College in Fairfield and masonry school. On May 2, 1969, he married Deanna (Dee) Caskey in Sigourney. Mike was employed by Conner Brothers Construction as a brick layer, Sigourney Lumber Yard and farmed. He was a member of Pheasants Forever, Mahaska Brewers and Ventners Association. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, telling stories of “back in the day” hunting, cooking Italian foods and drinking a good wine.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bob Conner.

He is survived by his wife Dee, children Nikki Conner of Rochester, Iowa, Nathan (Lisa) Conner of New Sharon, four grandchildren Andrew (Tonya) Johannes of Oskaloosa, McKenzie (Carter) Van Denberg of New Sharon, Maddie (Zach) Anderson of New Sharon, Alex (Ashley) Mitchell of New Sharon, six great grandchildren Lincoln, Camryn, Landon, Phynneas, Carsyn, Harper and one on the way, two brothers Pat (Karen) Conner of Arizona, James Conner of Sigourney, sister Linda (Jorma) Erkamaa of Texas, sister-in-law Jerre Conner of Sigourney and Uncle Lee Paul Paris.

Memorials may be made to Keokuk County Health Center EMTs or to Sigourney Fire Department.

A celebration of life to be planned for a later date.
