Michael Anthony Crillo, age 62, of Morenci, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on September 25, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas and Marcia (Mann) Crillo. On July 18, 1986, Mike married Jean A. DiMaggio in Orchard Lake, Michigan. Together they shared over 38 years of marriage.
Mike dedicated over forty years to the automotive manufacturing industry, working primarily with United Technology and AM General. In addition to his professional career, he served the Morenci community as a firefighter and EMT. His commitment to helping others extended beyond his official roles-he volunteered wherever he could and was always willing to lend a hand.
Known for his kindness and generosity, Mike was someone people could count on. Whether it was fixing something around the house or stepping up in times of need, he approached every task with skill and heart. Together with Jean, they opened their home to foster children and adopted one son, Keith, into their family.
To cherish his memory, Mike leaves his loving wife, Jean; his son, Keith Crillo; mother, Marcy Crillo; six siblings: Mary Sue (Greg) Weber, Tom (Debbie) Crillo, Darryl (Stacy) Crillo, Bill Crillo, Linda Crillo, and Katrina Ellegood; many nieces and nephews; and his feline companion, Pippi. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Crillo.
Cremation has taken place with no services at this time. Friends can express sympathies to the family online by visiting the tribute wall at www.eaglemarryfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been made with the guidance of Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Morenci.
