Michael Daugherty Obituary

Visit the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory - Lancaster website to view the full obituary.

Michael A. Daugherty, age 87, who died on August 22, 2025, at Bickford Assisted Living, is now waiting for the first resurrection (REV 20;16) from the grave by his Lord and Savior, the glorified and  immortal human, Messiah Jesus; at his second coming to rule and reign on a renewed earth.

This Jesus, who is subject only to the true God, the Heavenly Father ( John 17:3 and First Corinthians 15:28) is the son of God; Not God the Son.

Michael, who was a retired pharmacist and real estate broker was born in 1937 in the family of Luke and Florence Daugherty and his brother James, all now deceased.

There will be no public visitation or church service as Michael desired to follow the pattern of Jesus who was buried quickly after his death.

Michael wishes to sincerely thank all who graciously helped him and prayed for him in any stage of his life.

I  f you feel prompted by God's Holy Spirit to seek truth; Michael suggests that you contact Restoration Fellowship at www.restorationfellowship.org

Arrangements have been handled through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. A Private burial has taken place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
