Ricky was born October 29, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Harvey Elmer and Hazel Lucille Beatrice (Powell) Daugherty.
Survivors include his wife Sherry Harvey of Duncan, Oklahoma; son Johnthan Daugherty of Sedan, Kansas; daughters Crystal Lopez of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Rachel Daugherty of Duncan, Oklahoma; sisters Kathy Wesiernman of Brownwood, Texas, Glynda Wolocott of Vermont and Judith Daugherty of Texas.
