Michael Thomas Daul

Michael Thomas Daul, age 69, of Brighton, Michigan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday March 5, 2025. He was born in Rockford, Illinois on October 7, 1955.
After graduating from Northern Michigan University, he briefly pursued an occupation in social work, before finding his passion in providing environmental services through hazardous waste management. He spent the remainder of his career working in this field, both in California and then in Michigan. He valued hard work and commitment. He advanced in his career with determination and success, taking pride in his work and fostering many meaningful professional relationships. We know he will be missed for his endless loyalty and devotion to his career.
Most of all, he will be missed for his kind, gentle, and giving nature. Michael was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a wonderful and lighthearted sense of humor and his smile and laughter will be missed by many. He was an exceptional storyteller with a remarkable attention to detail. The adventures he recounted will forever remain etched in our memories.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Daul, his daughters Lindsey (Matthew) Webb and Audrey (Robert) Piesz, his grandchildren Jayda, Cameron, Jack, D.J., Josiah, Mia, Ali, Kionna, Kaeson, Rylan, Alyiah, and Raven.
Michael was predeceased by his late wife Kathy, his son Andrew Daul, his siblings Robert Daul, Timothy Daul, Mary Daul, Barbara Daul, and Lorraine Daul, and his parents Elaine and John Daul.
A visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 11:30 am-1:30 pm, with a brief service at 1:30 pm.
A burial will follow immediately at Brighton Hills Cemetery. Please bring appropriate foot wear to the cemetery as the ground may be soft or wet due to the spring like weather.
Following the burial, we invite family and friends to join us for a light meal and to celebrate his life at his home. We ask those who are joining to bring their own beverages.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to "The Tunnel of Towers Organization" or "Wounded Warrior Project" which Michael was very passionate about.
