Michael A Davidovich

Michael Anthony Davidovich, age 79, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at TerraBella Assisted Living in Anderson, SC.
Born September 29, 1945, in Duluth, MN, he was the son of the late Marko "Mike" Davidovich and the late Ann Gerdich Davidovich. He was preceded in death by a sister Joan Davidovich and in 2018 his beloved wife of 50 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Annette Davidovich.
Mike retired from the US Army as a major in the Signal Corp. He was a semi-pro hockey player, enjoyed golfing, and a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan. From the idyllic love for his wife Jackie to his devotion to his children and grandchildren, family always came first. A quiet man, he was fond of saying, "I never learned by talking." He was the greatest listener and could analyze any situation, always resulting in a positive outcome. Mike gave all to his family; provided, taught, listened and more importantly loved unconditionally.
Mike is survived by a son, Nicholas Davidovich (Shannon); two daughters, Andrea Czepiga (Jason) and Gabrielle Hilliard (Allen); grandchildren, Patrick and Joseph Hilliard, Gregory and Heather Czepiga, and Erica and Alexander Davidovich.
The family will host a gathering of friends and family Thursday, November 14, 2024 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A private committal will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
