I just found out of your passing Mike and my heart missed a beat.Words cannot express how much I treasure you and our friendship.I knew god had blessed me with you. You were the essence of his love, compassion and kindness. After losing my husband, I never thought I'd ever be able to discuss music in depth with someone with passion and appreciation and then came you!!!!I know your in the perfect place, one that is filled with an abundance of unconditional love, just like your heart and soul.Peace and love always.

I'm sorry for your loss. May the God who binds up the broken-hearted and comforts all who mourn sustain your family during this challenging time. ~Isaiah 61:1,2

I am very sorry for your loss. I only knew Mike for a short time, but in that time I grew to really enjoy working with and talking to him. My prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

I knew Mike for few months. But from day one I could tell he is a great man.
He was lighthearted, cheerful and always smiling.
He was very excited to move to his new house in Fairfax, but I am sure he is in much better place now.
I was shocked when I knew he passed away.
God bless him and have mercy on his soul.

Michael and Danny,
As the days pass the hurt you are feeling will become less, and it will be easier to remember dad with a smile and laughter in your heart. Your dad's proudest moments were always any time spent with you. He is never gone, he will just now be your angel. God bless you Michael. Aunt Erica

This one really caught me off guard . I couldn't believe it when my wife showed me the news of michaels passing. I literally grew up with these four brothers and there Home was truly a second home for me. Many many great memories of fun, trips, a little mischief and trouble , sports, and hauling but on my bicycle down grand avenue when big Joann or doc started to lay down the sword. One thing I will never ever forget is the fact that frank and Joann derobbio always had a very welcome and friendly household to all of their children's friends regardless of any barriers, they were good down to earth people always willing to place an extra plate at the dinner table or take someone extra along on a trip. God bless them all , love you guys. Your in my prayers Michael, sincerely Jack Kornek.

Very sad to hear this. I was good friends with Dr. D. we worked in psychiatrics together. Mike & I became FB friends because we were both AH boys. He just wrote on my post I think about 2 wks. ago. He was a gentle giant & a good guy. I last saw him in a food store before he moved. We had a great conversation about family & Atlantic Highlands. Condolences to family & friends. RIP. Mike
