Although I had been in contact with Mike during his hospital stay, I was still shocked and saddened that he passed on. I worked for Michael at Akland Printing for 35 years, so needless to stay, we were like family. Although Michael never had children of his own, he loved my 2 daughters..... from helping bottle feed them when I brought them to work as infants, to helping them learn to drive as teenagers. My grandson was also blessed with one of his woodworking projects of a rocking motorcycle. He was a kind hearted man who loved being around people and always wanted to share a glass of wine. The loss of his brother Larry took a toll on Michael; may their reuniting bring them comfort. I am without two great men who I spent a lifetime with and will always hold close to my heart.

Mike was a great friend. I worked with Mike in the printing business and we became fast friends. He was was a father figure, a friend, and confidant. He was a mentor and was as hearfelt as one could be. He loved to tell stories and i loved to listen to him and make fun. We made work into a friendship. He made my son a wooden rocker pony when he was born and we will always sherish it. I will never forget him, or the dedication he put into our friendship. He had health problems from the day I met him. I never knew him to ever complain. He was tough and I knew he was in pain, but he never ever let me know he was struggling. He set a terrific example for me. I will cherish our friendship and the times we spent. God Bless Michael Demyan

I am so saddened to know that Mike has passed away. He was a gentle soul who touched my life in such a special way. I will always remember his kindness, the way he would get so tickled that it would bring tears of joy to his eyes and the kind way he talked about his wife.
I am a better person for having known this good man. May God rest his soul.
