Michael D. Doss a lifetime resident of the area died on March 31, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was 76.
The son of the late Harold & Florence Doss he was born on January 14, 1948 in Port Jervis NY.
Mike had worked and retired for many years as a Sanitation Foreman with the Port Jervis DPW. He was a life member of Tri State Hose Co. #6 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, East Stroudsburg. Mike was an avid stock car fan and devoted NY Giants fan.
In addition to his parents Michael was predeceased in life by his brothers Robert and John Doss.
Beloved husband of Audrey Doss at home. Devoted father of Michelle Doss of Milford and Shawn Doss with his wife Rebecca of Florida. Cherished grandfather of Grant Doss of Milford and Kylee & Aubree Doss of Florida. He was an uncle and great uncle who will be missed.
A visitation will take place on Thursday 4/4 at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home from 4 to 7:00PM. A Funeral Service will take place 6:30PM at the funeral home. Following services a private cremation will take place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium.
