Michael Warren Dushane

Michael Warren DuShane, of Fort Worth, TX passed away on March 11th, 2023 in Keller, TX. He was born on October 2nd, 1948 in Dallas, TX to June and Evelyn DuShane. He will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and boss to all that knew and loved him. Michael lead an active life with many hobbies including racing, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and including them in everything he loved. Micheal worked in construction early on and spent the majority of his life as a carpenter. He opened Mike's Custom Building in 1974, where he worked alongside his son remodeling homes across Texas. Michael is survived by Granddaughter Ashley Jourden and Husband Richard Jourden of Keller, TX., Granddaughter Heather DuShane and Fiancé Michael Barnhart of Fort Worth, TX., Granddaughter Lindsay Hamer and Husband Henery Hamer of Denton, TX., Great Grandson Rylan Jourden, Great Granddaughter Addyson Jourden, and many extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Evelyn DuShane, and his son, Douglas DuShane. Michael was a member of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held on April 1st, 2023 at 2pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S. Main St., Keller Texas 76248
