Michael A. Eiholzer, 59, of Route 26, Eaton NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 16, 2023.
He was born on September 1, 1963 in Hamilton, a son of the late George, Sr. and Linda Lee Jones Eiholzer and was a graduate of Morrisville-Eaton High School. Mike had worked in housekeeping for the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville and then Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. He loved the outdoors and hunting. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn and having outdoor barbeques.
Michael was a devoted member of the Morrisville and Eaton Volunteer Fire Departments.
Surviving are his sisters, Christina Eiholzer of Eaton; Sharon (Scott) Branagan of Smyrna; Marie Pauline (Kenneth) Stoker of Oneida; brothers, James Eiholzer of Oneida; John Eiholzer and George Eiholzer, Jr., both of Hamilton; Paul (Amanda) Eiholzer of West Eaton; Carl Eiholzer and Joseph Eiholzer, both of Oneida; an aunt, Theresa (Paul) Carter of Sherrill; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Kathryn L. Eiholzer.
In keeping with Michael’s wishes, services and interment are private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton NY.
